"ICTs and Knowledge Sharing for Rural Community Development in Latin America and the Caribbean" was the title of the South-South Exchange Workshop held in Ecuador on March 16 - 21, 2006.
This event, convened by HIVOS, ALAI, IICD e IDRC, underlined the importance of sharing experience and knowledge, as part of the process of rural development, and explored the mechanisms and tools for doing so, including information and communications technologies (ICTs).
We present here a Workshop summary (pdf version with photos - 296 KB- / html version without photos), and appendices (pdf version with photos - 617 KB- / html version without photos) including a description of the methodology employed.
