Brazil: The cybernetic war against Haddad

The logistics of the Bolsonaro campaign to promote fraud and manipulation of popular sovereignty are installed both in Brazil and in foreign territory.

The surprising results of this year’s election do not find significant explanations in the frameworks of sociology, anthropology, political science or in methodological failures in the opinion polls.

In addition to the complete unknowns elected to the Congress and other exotic candidates leading the second turn for State governments, there was a federal deputy elected, a youtuber who has resided for four years in Miami, United States.

This phenomenon, that is decidedly far from representing a democratic and sovereign process of public deliberation for political representation, is tied into the Nazi-Bolsonara wave that occupies the national scene.

The thesis of the manipulation of political processes through digital media and social networks to cause chaos, fragment and divide societies, fracture the social network and create an environment favourable to the promotion of ultra liberal and racist policies is widely accepted.

The most notable experiments now known are the Arab Spring, the “days of June” in Brazil, the referendum on the peace agreement in Colombia, Brexit in the United Kingdom, the election of Trump and the extreme right campaigns in various European countries.

The technologies utilized for the manipulation and production of fraud take advantage of the extensive knowledge of military intelligence employed in modern wars, that is to say, the wars that have as their scenario the territory of Internet, the so-called hybrid war, that mixes the use of conventional arms with elements of cybernetic war.

The principal actors in the hybrid war are the Cambridge Analytica Company, that has stolen data and private information from over 50 million users of Facebook for this purpose; and a subject known for the global diffusion of Nazi-Fascist ideas and the ultra liberal mindset, Steve Bannon [see the video here], with whom the son of Bolsonaro came to an understanding in New York last August, when he declared that “we [Eduardo B and Steve B] concluded that we have the same understanding of the world”. “He said he was an enthusiast for the campaign of Bolsonaro and certainly we are in contact to join forces, principally against cultural Marxism”.

The Nazi-Bolsonarism that took the place of the PSDB in the position of anti-PTism [in reference to the PT – the Workers’ Party of former president Lula] was made electorally visible by promoting this hybrid war and employing the dirtiest tools of combat that were unleashed in the subterranean area of digital media and social networks.

The logistics [the virtual “troops”, robots and equipment] of the Bolsonaro campaign to promote fraud and manipulation of popular sovereignty are installed both in Brazil and in foreign territory.

The operation is developed as follows:

  • Telephone numbers pertaining to official systems of telecommunications of foreign countries are used to create original groups of Whatsapp [WA] of the Bolsonaro campaign. Every telephone line can create dozens of WA groups, and each WA group can have up to 257 subscribers. This is done with powerful robots that increase the replication of data in an exponential manner.

  • In Brazil, this procedure is replicated both with direct users of the original WA groups, as well as with other innumerable derived WA groups – defined by geographic, thematic, religious, professional, etc. criteria.

  • The campaign instructions are largely produced by original groups that generate odious content, calumnies, lies, defamation, insults, aggressions, incitation to violence, etc., in the form of audio, videos, texts against Haddad, Manuela, Lula and the PT.

  • The criminal content is propagated through hundreds (or thousands) of secondary WA groups as well as individual users of WA , reaching tens of millions of Brazilians that form numerous human swarms, bombarded with false and unfavourable content for the campaign of Haddad and stimulating anti-PT hatred.

  • Los Bolsonaristas, in addition, infiltrate Trojan horses in WA groups of the PT campaign, practicing espionage and generating content that disorganizes, misinforms, confuses and discourages the PT militancy.

The virtual increase of the rejection of Haddad comes from this brutal charge of attack. Bolsonaro does not bother to present proposals or undertake a campaign in the street, concede interviews or take part in debates. He simply dedicates himself to deconstructing and attacking Haddad and Manuela with dirty methods and offensive language.

Even while confined to his home and fleeing from debates with the doubtful excuse of health restrictions, he continues to register a high score in opinion polls, because he is winning the cyber war, from his position in front of computers and smartphones where he is working for the rejection of Haddad.

The method is identical to that employed by Trump against Hillary in 2016. Since he did not have positive messages and a program to transmit, Trump created lies, spoke barbarities, assailed and above all attacked his opponent. This brought about, for example, the lowest rate of participation of blacks in elections in the history of the United States, a public traditionally opposed the Republican Party and that votes for the Democratic Party with 9 out of 10 electors, but was discouraged from taking part in the election and abstained.

Brazilian and foreign hackers have made an exhaustive and successful effort to unravel the meanderings of this cyber war that is an attack on national security and democracy. They have identified, for example, telephone numbers +1 (857) 244-0746, from Massachusetts, and + 351 963 530 310, from Portugal, that manage over 70 campaign groups of Bolsonaro, and the number +1 (747) 207-0098 from California, that administers over 100 WA groups.

Haddad said to the daily Valor that “if you shut down whatsapp for 5 days, Bolsonaro will fall”. He is right, this is the pure truth, and it is exactly what should and can be done with maximum urgency in order to ensure the authenticity of the election and detain the Nazi-Fascist escalade in Brazil.

Some measures in this direction that could be considered, for example, are:

  • The denouncement to the TSA of WA groups with their telephone numbers and criminal contents, in order for the tribunal [1] to identify who has registered the telephone lines and who is responsible for the crimes; [2] to demand from the Bolsonaro campaign the proof of payments or investigate the hidden payments of lines and robots; [3] communicate these facts to the countries where the robots and telephone lines are installed and request the immediate de-activation of the logistics.

  • The presentation of denouncements to the Embassies of the host countries of the telecommunications platforms utilized in committing the crimes, with the demand that the governments of these countries immediately order the dismantling of the criminal infrastructure [lines, robots, etc.] installed in the respective countries, under the penalty of accusation, together with the UNO, of undue interference in the national sovereignty of Brazil.

  • The request for technical cooperation from the government of India, that last August applied the restrictive regulation of facebook and whatsapp, in view of a wave of lynching originating from the dissemination of fake news in the stimulation of conflict in the interior of Indian society, through facebook and whatsapp; and launch a global alert on the manipulation that is taking place in the Brazilian election, that is serving as a laboratory for the propagation of the Nazi-Fascist mindset for the imposition of its ultra-liberal project founded on hatred and social disintegration in every part of the world.

The election in Brazil is under attack, the campaign of Haddad is the target of a dangerous cybernetic war. It is urgent to combat the cyber war that Bolsonarism and the dominant class is promoting against popular sovereignty and the State of Law to install a regime that will not only involve political, social and cultural terror, but also economic terror.
